POSITION
Pan Galactic Digital is looking for a digital marketing specialist to join its team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate looking for an exciting role in digital marketing, or for an individual newer to data-driven marketing and seeking a new opportunity. The ideal candidate delights in a deluge of data and enjoys parsing numbers into an actionable story for clients that shows where they are coming from and where they can go.
The digital marketing specialist will support the development, management and reporting on search marketing, social media and content marketing initiatives for Pan Galactic clients. This will include contributing to planning and strategy sessions, report development, copywriting and analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile monthly report data on traffic, engagement and keyword rankings
- Optimize site copy in accordance with SEO best practices
- Perform site audits and competitive analysis
- Research keywords and provide recommendations
- Work directly with the digital strategist to craft and implement marketing plans for a diverse roster of clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year degree in marketing, communication or related field
- A keen analytical eye and intellectual curiosity
- Sound problem-solving skills
- Fast learner with a personal drive and positivity
- Enthusiasm and passion for the digital space
- Self-motivated and ready to take on tasks independently
- Process- and detail-oriented
- Desire for a creative, friendly, fast-paced environment
MAJOR PLUSSES
- 1-2 years of experience with SEO, SEM and/or social media, preferably in an agency setting
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, and social media platforms
- Proficient in Excel (vlookups and pivot tables get a thumbs-up)
- Strong business writing and presentation skills
