A Website Recipe for SEO Love
All too often as SEOs, we’re asked to work our magic on sites that require drastic reconfiguration before we can even begin to make our first recommendation. I’ve seen sites where all the text is locked up in images, or a custom CMS has been created and Title Tags can’t easily be changed.
A lot of headaches could be avoided if, in the early planning stages, a checklist was followed that would allow the site to be optimized somewhere down the road.
To this end, I created a Search Optimization Checklist. This SEO checklist has only been created with basic SEO in mind. This means that the checklist’s aim is to focus on building a site with content that can easily be accessed by search engines.
